US Weekly Goofs Up Adoption Story, Apologizes

US Weekly magazine published on their early July 18 issue an article suggesting that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were going to adopt the Ethiopian baby girl together. On July 6, Jolie confirmed the adoption of an Ethiopian girl and specified that she will remain a single mother.

US Weekly bosses issued a correction only hours after their latest issue hit newsstands, claiming Pitt and Jolie had adopted the child together.

The baby girl is less than a year old, and her parents died of AIDS.
